Publication Ethics
Al-Ushul upholds high standards of publication ethics and follows the principles of academic integrity in accordance with internationally recognized publication ethics practices. The ethical responsibilities apply to authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers.
Duties of Authors
Authors must:
- Present original and accurate research findings.
- Ensure that manuscripts are free from plagiarism and fabricated data.
- Properly acknowledge all references and sources used in the research.
- Avoid multiple or simultaneous submissions to other journals.
- Ensure that all listed authors have significantly contributed to the research and approved
the final manuscript. - Disclose any conflict of interest related to the publication.
Duties of Editors
Editors are responsible for:
- Evaluating manuscripts fairly based on academic merit and relevance to the journal
scope. - Maintaining confidentiality throughout the review process.
- Preventing discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, religion, nationality, or political
perspective. - Making publication decisions based on scholarly quality and reviewer recommendations.
Duties of Reviewers
Reviewers are expected to:
- Conduct objective and constructive reviews.
- Maintain confidentiality of reviewed manuscripts.
- Identify relevant uncited works and potential plagiarism.
- Inform editors of any conflict of interest that may affect the review process.
Ethical Violations
The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, data fabrication, citation manipulation, or other forms of
academic misconduct. Manuscripts proven to violate publication ethics will be rejected or
retracted accordingly.
