Al-Ushul: Jurnal Ilmiah Mahasiswa Ushuluddin dan Filsafat is a peer-reviewed academic  journal published by the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Philosophy, UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. The journal is dedicated to the publication of scholarly works produced by students, researchers, and academics in the field of Ushuluddin and Islamic intellectual studies. The journal aims to encourage the development of critical, analytical, and interdisciplinary  scholarship within Islamic studies, particularly in relation to contemporary religious, philosophical, and social issues. 

SCOPE

Al-Ushul welcomes original research articles, conceptual papers, and critical reviews in areas including, but not limited to:

• Qur’anic Studies and Tafsir
• Hadith Studies
• Aqidah and Islamic Theology
• Islamic Philosophy
• Sufism and Islamic Spirituality
• Islamic Thought and Intellectual History
• Comparative Religion
• Sociology and Anthropology of Religion
• Religion and Society

The journal particularly encourages studies that integrate classical Islamic scholarship with 
contemporary academic approaches and contextual analysis in local, national, and global 
perspectives.
